These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of wvhomedesigner.com and our tools and services (the "Services"), operated by West Virginia Home Designer ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
West Virginia Home Designer provides free home-visualization and cost-estimate tools for homeowners, and connects interested homeowners with independent local contractors. We are a lead-generation and matchmaking service. We are not a roofing, siding, gutter, or other home-improvement contractor, and we do not perform, supervise, warrant, or guarantee any contractor's work.
Any prices, ranges, measurements, or estimates provided by our tools are approximations based on regional averages, publicly available data, and satellite or other automated measurements. They are for general planning purposes only and are not quotes, offers, or guarantees of price. Your actual cost will be determined by a contractor after an on-site inspection and may differ significantly.
Our visualization tools generate AI-assisted previews of how products might look on your home. These images are approximations only. Colors, textures, and appearance will vary from the real products, and the previews may not perfectly reflect your actual home or the finished result. Always confirm colors and products with a physical sample from the manufacturer or contractor before ordering.
When you submit a request, you authorize us to share your information with a limited number of local contractors (typically up to three), and you consent to being contacted by those contractors by phone, text, or email regarding your project, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Any agreement, contract, payment, warranty, or dispute is strictly between you and the contractor you choose. We do not employ, endorse, or vouch for any contractor, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with them. We encourage you to verify a contractor's license, insurance, and references before hiring.
When you upload a photo of your home, you grant us permission to process and modify that image for the purpose of generating your visualization and sharing it with contractors as part of your project request. You represent that you have the right to share any photo you upload.
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by submitting false information, using automated tools to abuse our systems, attempting to overload or interfere with the Site, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that any estimate, visualization, or contractor referral will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, West Virginia Home Designer and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any damages arising from your use of the Services, from any contractor's work, or from your reliance on any estimate or visualization. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
You agree to hold West Virginia Home Designer harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Services or your dealings with any contractor you're connected with.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
